Privacy policy
What we keep
Your name, email and birthday, your photo if you add one, your wishlists, votes, greetings and contributions, your language and timezone, your interests, optional gender and gift-personalisation preference, and when you were last active. Your organization adds you; nobody can sign up on their own.
Why
Only to let your colleagues choose gifts together: remind you about wishlists and votes, and show the result. No advertising, no selling of data.
Who sees what
Colleagues in your organization see your name, photo and wishlist. The admins of your organization see its members and events, including votes. The person being celebrated never sees the votes on their wishlist. The service operator can see everything, only to run and support the service.
Gift suggestions
When personalisation is on in your profile, gift suggestions may use your interests, age on the event date and optional gender, together with the occasion, its date and budget. Your name and email are not included. When it is off, interests, age and gender are left out; the occasion, date and budget still apply.
Services we use
Cloudflare delivers the site, an email delivery service sends our emails, and Sentry reports errors to us without personal data. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we only receive your email address from them.
Automatic chat translation
When automatic chat translation is enabled, message text is sent to the configured translation provider (DeepL or Microsoft Azure Translator). Translations are stored so the same version does not need to be translated again.
Cookies
Only the ones the site needs: to keep you signed in and to remember your language and timezone. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Notification choices
Your profile lets you choose optional event emails, Telegram and browser push, set quiet hours for Telegram and browser push, and mute individual chats. Sign-in links and organization invitations remain sent by email.
Your data, your call
Download a copy of your profile and activity data or delete your account from your profile. Personal sign-in and profile details are removed; shared event, wishlist and chat history is retained for the organization with your membership anonymized. The only active administrator of an organization must transfer admin access before deleting their account.
